Duct Cleaning

Thank you for viewing our duct cleaning page. We are very excited to be offering this needed service to the community! We have researched duct cleaning for many years and looked at the different methods and machinery available. We started out by cleaning all our employees homes and our own home as well and let me tell you I am a believer in this service. When duct cleaning is done right it can really improve your indoor air quality and if you know anything about our company you know that we don’t want to do something unless we can do it right!

Methods of Duct Cleaning

There are two main methods for cleaning ducts and HVAC systems. Rotary brush method and source removal method (also called push pull method).

Rotary brush method uses basically a large shop-vac with a rotating brush on the end of it. The idea behind it is the brush dislodges the soil and hopefully vacuum hose retrieves it.

The Preferred Method

The push pull method places the entire HVAC system under a negative or vacuum pressure using a large specially designed machine with HEPA filtration. Once system is placed under vacuum rotating brushes or compressed air is used to dislodge and push dust and contaminates one duct at a time to the large vacuum.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Protect your home with tarps and corner guards.

2. Remove and Wash all Vents

3. HEPA Vacuum inside entrance to ducts to prevent soil from entering home.

4. Seal off each duct.

5. Clean air handler unit.

6. Place system under negative pressure.

7. Starting from the furthest point from HVAC system we use compressed air or rotary brush and push toward vacuum system.

8. Once each duct is cleaned we then clean the return air ducting.

9.  We then replace filter and vacuum the areas in which we worked.

Please note: Duct Cleaning does not replace the need for your HVAC system to be inspected by a qualified HVAC professional.
